纳米丙烯酸树脂的乳液聚合制备及稳定性初步研究

Primary study on preparation of nano acrylic resin by emulsion polymerization and therefore stability

摘要: 相对于微米级丙烯酸树脂,纳米级丙烯酸树脂具有更优异的性能和更高的应用价值,其制备方法的研究是开发纳米丙烯酸树脂材料的关键。本研究中,采用乳液聚合法,以月桂醇聚乙醚AEO-7和聚乙二醇脂肪酸酯 PEG-400酯为乳化剂,甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯为单体,过硫酸钾为引发剂,在水相中,于80 ℃进行聚合反应。结果表明:用水量为45 g,甲基丙烯酸甲酯和丙烯酸丁酯质量比为0.4:0.6(m:m)时,丙烯酸树脂的粒径最小,为80 nm,所得乳液的表观性状和稳定性较好,如果以不同质量比的甲基丙烯酸丁酯,分别替换甲基丙烯酸甲酯或丙烯酸丁酯,所得聚丙烯酸树脂的粒径均通常在130 nm以上。该研究结果为纳米丙烯酸树脂的制备提供了一定参考。

Abstract: Compared with micron grade acrylic resin, nano acrylic resin has better property and higher application value. It is crucial to study the preparation method of nano acrylic resin materials for its development. In this study, the emulsion polymerization was taken by using lauryl alcohol polyether AEO-7 and polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester PEG-400 as emulsifiers, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, butyl methacrylate as monomers, potassium persulfate as initiators, in water phase, at 80 degree, to carry out polymerization. The results showed that, when employed water was 45 g and mass ratio of methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate was 0.4:0.6(m:m), the apparent character of emulsion was better, the particle size of the acrylic resin was the least about 80 nm, and also the stability of emulsion was better. If methyl methacrylate or butyl acrylate was replaced with butyl methacrylate in different mass ratio, the particle size of obtainede polyacrylic acid resin was above 130 nm in general. This work provides a reference for the preparation of nano acrylic resin.
