Abstract: Since the 18th CPC National Congress, a series of important discussions on China’s poverty management has been made by general secretary Xi Jinping and has become an important component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The scientific connotation and spiritual essence of Xi Jinping’s poverty alleviation should be accurately grasped, and the historical logic and realistic logic contained therein should be combed out the unity of theory and practice, class nature and people's nature, inheriting and innovating and scientific and ideological should be adhered to, basic characteristics should be clarified, the effective links between poverty alleviation and the rural revitalization should be consolidated and expanded, so that China could contribute to the world the “China wisdom” and “China plan”.
